Developer - Cognos BI Report Writer, Manchester. sought by this Global Consumer Products Company. Our client are fortunate enough to be at the forefront of their market, with aspects of their products appearing in over 40% of UK households. Due to a large internal restructure, they are looking to secure additiona strength to their Business Intelligence competency, in the form of a Cognos/BI Reports specialist. Main responsibilities of the role will require you to you to undertake core development, maintenance and support of the Cognos reporting suite and start participating in the design phase of new reporting solutions for the enhancement of existing applications, when needed.

This is an exciting and challenging role, working for one of the best employers around. To be considered a serious contender for this roles, you will need to have considerable experience of Cognos BI and some Data Warehouse design, as well as having commercial software development experience. Additional exposure to Hyperion and/or Crystal Reports is a real advantage.
